![]() ![]() I guess we both came to the revelation that some rare 1st gen Beretta 92(1975 only) and2nd gen 92S parts should fit like the S trigger even though they are hard to come by along with possibly milling the side of a Beretta hammer flat to fit. I just needed to retake the pics of the grip screw bushing mod. Also a 2mm metric allen key wrench will fit the hex head screws tighter and be less likely to strip out. I didn't have a thin enough screw driver so i bottom the bushings out and then spun them around another 1/4 turn with a punch on the outside edge of the slot.īe careful and don't tighten the grips screws too tight as they are thinner. I used blue/green in case i break a grip screw off and have to remove a bushing later. You will want to use blue or red lock-tite on the bushings when you install them so they don't back out when you are removing your grip screws. You can add 3 additional bushings into the 3 large holes in the frame and then be able to use factory Beretta grip screws and the stainless hex head set from Houge. This small screw is the same as all the Beretta grip screws that are all small. The small screw goes into the top left grip screw bushing that holds the safety lever spring in place. The newer PT92's consist of one skinny grip screw and three large ones. Re: Taurus & Beretta 92 Compatibility Chart 2.0 Grip Screws.(Beretta style grip screws will work on PT92's if you install 3 more grip bushings into the 3 larger holes in the frame that don't have one. This magazine is dual cut to work with the Beretta and Taurus and shows the correlation between the two. You could mill the right side that sticks out to far on a Beretta hammer flat.) Hammer(the Beretta has a wider section on the right side. ![]() I believe the older Beretta 92-S model has the shorter but more curved trigger like the Taurus but would be hard to find as they are from the early 70's and only made for a few years.) Trigger( newer Beretta triggers should work but are to long at the bottom and must be shortened. Older pre90-91 non-decocker models were the same as Beretta.)Įarly Firing Pin without slide mounted rotating firing pin block Take Down Button (Taurus reversed it flipping the side that holds the spring. ![]() Confirmed Beretta 92FS / Taurus PT92 AFS Compatibility Chart ![]()
